PRIVACY POLICY

Who we are

Warrick County Christian Academy ("WCCA," "we") operates this website at wcca.academy. You can reach us at office@wcca.academy, 812-853-3787, or 7564 W State Route 66, Newburgh, IN.

What we collect

We collect information only when you choose to give it to us — through our enrollment application or by contacting us. From the enrollment form, that includes:

We do not collect medical, insurance, or physician information through this website; those details are completed on paper during in-person registration.

Children’s privacy

Our enrollment form is built for a parent or legal guardian to complete, and a student’s information reaches us through that adult. For applicants in grades 6–12, the student also types their own name to sign the Statement of Faith and Technology Use agreements. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 acting on their own. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us at office@wcca.academy and we will delete it.

How we use it

We use the information you provide for one set of purposes: processing enrollment, responding to your questions, and — only at your direction — preparing state scholarship applications such as the Indiana Choice Scholarship. Teacher contract submissions are used for one purpose: employment at the Academy, and are kept as part of school employment records.

We never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising. We share it in only two situations, stated plainly: with the State of Indiana when you ask us to file a scholarship application on your behalf, and where the law compels disclosure.

Cookies, tracking & how the site works — in plain terms

We run no advertising, no behavioral or cross-site tracking, and no marketing analytics. Nothing on this site builds a profile of you, identifies you, or follows you to other websites. In the plainest terms: this site does not watch you, and we know nothing about you until you fill out a form and press Submit.

One piece of honesty about how the site is built. So our office can keep the words and photos on these pages current without a programmer, that content is delivered through Google Firebase, a Google Cloud service. When you load a page, your browser fetches the content from Google’s servers, and the service keeps a small amount of working data in your browser purely so the page loads correctly. That is machinery, not surveillance — it is not an advertising cookie, it does not identify you, and it is never used to track or market to you.

Like every server on the internet, the providers that deliver the page receive routine request information — such as your IP address and browser type — in the course of serving it. We do not use any of it to identify, track, or market to you.

The enrollment form page itself loads no third-party content. The only request that carries the information you type is the one you trigger by pressing Submit.

No organization can honestly promise unbreachable security. Our protection is structural: we collect the minimum needed to enroll a student, limit who can access our systems, and sensitive medical, insurance, and physician details are never collected online — paper only, in person.

Who processes it

A few trusted providers handle data on our behalf, each under its own security practices:

Photographs and media of students appear on this site only with a signed media release from a parent or guardian, which may be revoked in writing at any time.

Retention & your choices

Enrollment submissions are kept as part of school records for as long as needed for enrollment and legal purposes. You may ask us at any time to review, correct, or delete information you submitted through this site by emailing office@wcca.academy.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
